Who, or for that, what, is the Neverworld Expanse?

Neverworld Expanse; was the working title given to a music production project headed by myself, John Hodgson for Dithis Deign Associates beginning in 2000 and continuing through until 2005, by which time, DDA was no longer operating. I continued to work on what by this time had become a personal project under the guise of my company Tacet Bureau of Design.

The scope of the project was simple; to produce electronically based music for various advertising campaigns and the world of multi media presentations. Primarily recorded at the Dithis Radiophonic workshop in county Durham, North East England and later remixed at the TBD workshops again in county Durham, North East England. After the success of several backing and incidental tracks, it decided to expand on the original concept, thus producing a wide range of Trance, Techno, and ambient music.

After an accident which caused muscle and nerve damage in both of my hands, I continued to work on the project albeit at a somewhat subdued pace. However, soon realising that the damage to my hands had already ended my affair with the piano and keyboards.

Finally I ended the project at the beginning of 2005 believing that I would never return, however, in recent months, I have decided to try once again. Although there will be nothing new, I am in the process of rebuilding the and re-sampling many of the tracks which I hope to offer shortly in a limited production run.
